I am a [potential] first time home buyer and I do a lot of babysitting for a living. I make a excellent amount of money but none of it is exactly reported. Obviously no pay stubs or tax returns, but with me working for several different families im not sure how that would work anyways. FHA requires not only three months of complete bank statements but a month of pay stubs and two years of tax returns. Would I absolutely need a real job to get a loan or would the babysitter explanation be acceptable? Also- I would be co-signing with my boyfriend who does have a taxable job but not making enough on his own
