I am a mother of a newborn and currently live with my mother. I am looking to get out on my own. Would i be able to get hud or section 8 with no income?

    Only if you are disabled. It is not there for you to watch the TV. Also, you need to be able to feed yourself, pay for power, etc.

    Get yourself a job and support your own child, most parents manage it on their own.
