    I suppose it would depend on what kind of help you are on. If you have government insurance then I don’t see how it would be a problem. But if you lie about what you make to qualify for benefits, then show your right earnings on a mortgage application you are just asking for distress.

    If you have a 620 fico or better, 3.5% down, no open collections of any type including medical. Your debt to income ratio (bottom) not over 42%.

    FHA, as with other programs, has undergone a drastic change regarding qualification guidelines. I would check in your area for a broker that maybe able to help you in deciphering the rules.

    Recenlty my friend got home loan of 500000$ for 25 years on 1.5% which should be paid annually my friend doesnt have excellent credit his credit score is below 500 but still he got loan.
