How far back do I need to provide proof of income for, for fha financing?

How much income information will the lender require? Do they send a form to the employer? What kind of questions do they question the employer?

I work at a school and will not be paid during the summer, but I will have a summer job somewhere else. I will start getting paid again by the school this fall. Will this disqualify me?
