HUD Request for Occupied Conveyance. Does anyone know if this is hard to obtain?
After never missing my rent for over 2 years I found out a few months ago that my landlord stopped paying her mortgage about 8 months ago.
It’s a long tale but the most recent chapter is this form she sent me in the mail from HUD. A Request for Occupied Conveyance.
I am able to meet all of the conditions for staying in the house after they take it over BUT for me to even be considered ‘qualified’ to remain in the house there is a list of 4 criteria, 1 of which MUST be met.
I’m out of luck on 2 of them because they involve multifamily homes or people with disabilities. Which leaves me 2 other possibilities: 1. My occupancy will protect the property from vandalism or 2. HUD has lots of homes in the area that have been vacant for over 6 months. I’m pretty sure I can’t claim option 1 because this is a honestly decent neighborhood. Which leaves me with option # 2.
Does anyone know if these Request for Occupied Conveyance are granted very often or are they hard to get?
The HUDâs recovery act and best HUDâs six year strategic plot HUD Request for Occupied Conveyance.
