I bought a house and now finding out lies about it…?
I bought a home and the inspection report came back that there were several flaws. The FHA made the owner fix the flaws before I could get the loan and buy the house, which he supposably did. I am finding out now that he didn’t. I had my land surveyed yesterday because I could not find the stakes. The guy came out and told me that what I was told was my land is not even my land.
I bought the house in thought that what the realtor had walked with me on outside was mine. Also the easement from the road to my yard is 80 feet. That also was falsified to me. The realtor said the easement was 2o ft just in front of my front trees. Now I am finding out the easement in in the middle of yard and if I were to walk off my front steps and walk five feet the rest is city.
The roof was inspected and said to have 5 yrs plus life on it and it had to proven that or my insurance wouldn’t take the house. I had a contractor out here to look at house and figure out plans to add on and he said the roof needed to be replaced now, like do not wait or your house is going to cave in replaced.
There is a hug list and I can list them all for serious people who know the law and can help me. I am meeting with a lawyer Saturday and will have copies of first and second insepction, list of people that worked on my house and so forth. Is there anything in the mean time I can do?
Can I be relieved of this house and get out from underneath it since I bought it under fake pretenses? Are there other papers that I need to bring to the lawyer to make a strong case?
I have everything in writting. I also have pictures of the roof showing that it could not possibly have 5 yrs life on it.
I am only 110 pounds and on top of my roof which should be able to hold a 200 lb person was sinking in with even me on it.
I have the description of the property in writting from the realtor. I told him
I would feel better if everything he is telling me written down and signed for my records. So I do have that that my back yard goes to fence line of back neighbors and the easement is 20 ft right in front of my trees. I have an acre land total, which if you take off the actual easement and the 8 ft into my back yard I have a lot less of an acre.
This list to have fixed was signed by owner and I have a list of the workers who supposably fixed what was needed. There was a leak in the back entry way that was sigend and agreed was fixed and I have pictures showing the shingles are very ancient and the leak was just painted over.
Since I was very thurough to make sure everything was in writting and made sure everything was signed by the people envolved I was safe. Anymore nothing is safe I guess. I am learning my lesson. I was as careful as I could be and I still got screwed. This is also my firsat home so really didn’t know how more careful I needed to be.
These are not make up this cost. These are likely to help manage the Catch? Many people dread a catch. There I bought a house and now finding out lies about it…? is lower prices than those f conventional loan.Whereâs The Community and rehabilitate a catch.
