My husband and I are on the border for an fha loan, is there anything that can help?

We have about 3 months to find a place to live because the house we rent sold recently. We live in a small town and homes seldom come up for rent with no apartment buildings. We found a house to buy but are having distress with loans due to limited credit history. We meet the credit limit for a FHA loan but most of the banks have a cutoff of their own making FHA’s cut off useless. We have found one place that would accept out score but we only have one open line of credit that is 6 months ancient. One place said if my husband had been at his job 2 months longer we could have the loan and citi said our score was 12 points too low. Is there anything we can do to help or can anyone suggest a company to work with?
