My wife and I have found a condo in NYC that we are close to making an offer on. We have 20% to place down and have already been pre-approved.

Which loan type is better, FHA or Conventional? We will be going through the options with our lender, but I want to get some 3rd party feedback here beforehand. We are first time buyers, so any help much appreciated :)

Does anyone know how I can get living help without sitting on a 2 year waiting list for HUD?

I am 11 weeks pregnant and looking for a place to live only problem is I cant afford anything on my own that isnt a studio. I need some kind of help to help me make it. I only have 30 days to find something. Someone please help!

me and my boyfriend are trying to buy a house soon. but we are both just starting new jobs. He is a truck driver and i am a cna and an ekg technician and in school to be a nurse. we dont have that excellent of credit either. i believe mine in around 620 and his is about 550. the interest rate isnt that huge of a problem. were just worried we might not get approved.. it wouldnt bother us if we had to pay $1000 a month on a mortgage because we would rather do that than pay $1000 on rent. The house we want to buy is only $110,000. Do you reckon we would get approved for a FHA loan, or any other type of loan? anything would be helpful, thanks.
