I recieve $5000 to use towards housing and transportation, from my scholarship department. Can I use this towards income when applying for an FHA home loan? I will be guareenteed this money until I graduate ,as long as my GPA stays where it needs to be.
None of these answeres are right. FYI FHA loans do not allow scholarship money as income.

Tuesday, June 23rd, 2009We're talking like 610 and 540 for the credit scores. My husband would qualify for a VA loan. He works full time and gets money from his GI Bill to go to school. I stay at home with our son and go to school. I get financial aid and have a scholarship for going to school. My score is better than his, though. We have also looked at the information for FHA loans. (not sure which is better.. VA or FHA) We currently don't have much saved for a down payment. Could we still qualify?
