My real estate agent (who I cant reach right now) informed me that I need to pay 00 for termites before we can close on the house. I am very much in the dark, and have not yet seen a termite report, but the amount of money sounds like an actual treatment is to be done. I read that many FHA lenders require termite inspection, but do they also require the termite treatment to be paid for in order to close on the deal?
This is a small sale and the seller is not paying for the treatment. I want to delay the treatment for a few months, if possible.
